If you're looking for such an environment where you prefer to really get to know and care for the patients as more than just a number, this may be the place just for you! As a Venipuncturist/Receptionist, you will act as both Venipuncturist for blood draws and Receptionist after blood draw duties are completed.
As the Venipuncturist, you will primarily be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients, preparing the samples to be sent out to a lab, and being an intermediary between the patients, doctor, and laboratory.
As the Receptionist, you will perform a variety of clerical tasks such as answering phones, directing calls to appropriate staff, taking messages, and filing paperwork.
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Word and Excel and office equipment.

Ultimately, a Venipuncturist/Receptionist should ensure patient care, efficient day-to-day operations, and share in the support of each other.
Skills Proven work experience as a Venipuncturist in a clinical setting Provide comfort and care for the patients' needs Knowledge of office management systems and procedures Working knowledge of lab and office equipment Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word and MS Excel, in particular) Professional attitude and appearance Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Education High School degree or GED equivalent Additional qualifications will be considered Experience One year or more of phlebotomy, clinical, and medial office experience preferred Job Type:
